What is a split payment?
Split payment is the term used for when someone 'splits' or 'spreads' the cost of their flights into instalments that are paid over time.
For example, you might buy a flight that costs $400. With split payment, instead of paying the total cost upfront, you might pay it back in 4 separate and equal payments over the course of 6 weeks. The 1st payment ($100) would be taken at the time of checkout, the 2nd payment ($100) would be taken 2 weeks after that, the 3rd payment ($100) would be taken 2 weeks after that and the 4th and final payment ($100) would be taken 2 weeks after that.
Split payment refers to anytime that your flight is split over time, regardless of how often you make payments. Instead of paying back in 4 payment over 6 weeks, you might choose to pay it back weekly or you might choose to pay it back monthly over a longer period of time.
