Nouvelair, which is also known as Nouvelair Tunisie, is a Tunisian airline which is headquartered in Tunis, Tunisia. The airline flies both scheduled and charter passenger flights. It flies scheduled flights to over 25 destinations across Europe, Eurasia and North Africa and charter flights to several destinations across the same regions. The airport has three main operating bases, with Monastir Habib Bourguiba International (MIR)as its main hub and Tunis–Carthage International (TUN) and Djerba–Zarzis International (DJE) as secondary hubs.
The airline was founded in 1989 under the name of Air Liberté Tunisie as a subsidiary of the French airline Air Liberté. In 1990, the airline flew its first-ever flight. Today, it's recognised as Tunisia's leading private airline and the second oldest in the country after the national carrier, Tunisair.

Passengers have a maximum carry-on baggage allowance of one piece that weighs a maximum of 10kg (for France, Belgium, United Kingdom and Algeria), 8kg for Turkey or 5kg for other destinations. The maximum dimensions of the carry-on bag should be 55cm x 35cm x 25cm.
Standard ticket checked baggage allowance for trips to and from France, Belgium and the United Kingdom is 25kg maximum weight for adult/child and 10kg for baby/infant.
Flex ticket checked baggage allowance for trips to and from France, Belgium and the United Kingdom is 32kg maximum weight for adult/child and 10kg for baby/infant.
Checked baggage allowance for flights to and from Algeria is 30kg maximum weight for adult/child and 10kg for baby/infant.
Checked baggage allowance for flights to and from Turkey is 40kg maximum weight for adult/child and 10kg for baby/infant.
Checked baggage allowance for flights to and from other destinations is 20kg maximum weight for adult/child.

Nouvelair offers many complementary services, with other services available for a purchase fee.
Choose from a selection of in-flight meal and beverage options, served free of charge. There is no in-flight entertainment system but passengers can enjoy the airlines’ own magazine.
Available to purchase: a Priority Boarding Pass is available to pre-purchase before flying. For a small cost, passengers can choose their seats up to 48 hours before departure.
Passengers can purchase a pass to access the airline’s lounge. Lounges are exclusively available at the following airports: Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport, Monastir Habib-Bourguiba International Airport and Tunis Carthage Airport.
You will have access to Wi-Fi Internet access and office equipment to work, as well as a meal service, with the menu varying and depending on the time of day.
The airline doesn't have an in-flight entertainment system installed on its aircraft. However, the airline does give each passenger a copy of its latest in-flight magazine, which has a new edition released for each season. The in-flight magazine has insightful information on Nouevlair, as well as inspiring destinations pieces on each of the main destinations that the airline flies to.
Passengers flying with Nouvelair may only check-in at the airport as online check-in isn't available.

Passengers must check-in at the airport. This can be done by presenting the relevant travel documents to a Nouvelair check-in agent one the airport check-in desks. The airline recommends that passengers arrive at the airport two hours before scheduled flight departure time as check-in closes 45 minutes prior to flight departure time.
Passengers can pre-book meals by contacting Alternative Airlines or by booking a meal directly on the Nouvelair meal selection page. Passengers can also order a range of snacks and drinks from the airline refreshment trolly service, which is offered once in-flight.
Jasmine is the frequent flyer program for Nouvelair. Passengers subscribed to the Jasmine program can collect points with each flight that they fly and use those points to spend on future flights, additional baggage and other services like in-flight meals and airport lounges.
