FlyEgypt is an Egyptian airline that offers low-cost and charter flights. The airline is based at Cairo International Airport (CAI) and flies to destinations within Egypt, as well as to cities in the Middle East. Overall, the airline flies to more than 10 destinations.
The airline launched in 2015, with a flight between Cairo and Jeddah. Soon after, it launched domestic flights and expanded its route network to other international destinations.
FlyEgypt has different baggage policies for carry-on and checked baggage.
Unless stated otherwise, passenger are entitled to one item of free carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg.
Passengers are entitled to 20 kg of free checked baggage on domestic flights.
The free checked baggage allowance for international flights will depend on the route of the flight and will be advised at the time of booking and can also be found on the e-ticket.
FlyEgypt doesn't offer an online check in service so you must ensure that you check in at the airport.
Online check-in isn't available on FlyEgypt flights.
Passengers must check-in at the airport at for their FlyEgypt flight. This can be done by visiting one of the airline check-in agents at the check-in desk. Check-in deadlines differ depending on the route flown. However, it's suggested that passengers arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to departure for domestic flights and three hours prior to departure for international flights.

Cairo International Airport is an airport in Cairo, Egypt and the hub airport for FlyEgypt. It's the busiest airport in Egypt and one of the main gateways into the country, facilitating flights from airlines flying to/from Africa, Asia and Europe.
Air Cair, EgyptAir, Alexandria Airlines and Nile Air are also based at Cairo International International. Other airlines that fly to/from the airport include Jazeera Airways, AlMasria Universal Airlines, Air Cairo, Lufthansa, Tunisair and Yemenia and many more
FlyEgypt's fleet consists entirely of Boeing aircraft. It has more than five aircraft from the Boeing 737 family currently within its fleet.
