Evia Aero is a proposed German airline that has a planned operational start date of 2027. The airline plans on operating to 15 destinations across Europe, utilising a fleet of sustainable aircraft. Evia Aero plans to follow suit as other German start-up airlines such as Vairtual and Flyv, offering European services marketed towards business travellers. It is currently unknown which aircraft type the airline may operate, however, it has expressed that they will operate planes with a capacity of around 30 passengers and will select a sustainable aircraft type, not including the Dornier 228, De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter or Let L-410.

Bremen airport is a dual runway airport, with one for commercial flights and the second for small private turboprop services with an additional helipad. The airport handles around 3m passengers annually with services to destinations across Europe, North Africa and Turkey. Bremen is not a hub airport for any airlines, however, Evia Aero intends on operating out of the airport to a range of destinations. Currently, Corendon Airlines, Eurowings, KLM, Lufthansa, Ryanair, Sundair, SunExpress, Turkish Airlines and Wizz Air all operate to the airport. The cities tram line '6' serves the airport connecting it to downtown Bremen. The airport is also well connected to the local and regional highway network making it easy to get to Bremen or the surrounding areas in a private transfer with ease.
