The airline is the main low-cost airline in the Philippines and the cheaper alternative to the country's national carrier, Philippines Airlines. The airline also has a subsidiary, Cebgo, which focuses solely on domestic flights within the Philippines. Cebgo flies from and to destinations that aren't already in Cebu Pacific's route network.

Cebu Pacific has announced that as of June 2021 it will fly 5 times a day to Boracay, along with flights to Bohol, which will also operate daily. The airline has stated that it is cautiously optimistic about demand bouncing back following the COVID-19 pandemic. The airline hopes that demand will continue in the coming months.
