Your Ace rental will come with third-party insurance. This is a requirement for most US car rental suppliers and means that damage you cause to another vehicle will be covered.
Depending on your location, you may be required to add further insurance.
You must provide the name and details of all individuals who will be driving your rental.
Depending on the location, you may be charged an additional fee for each driver to cover insurance costs.
If someone drives your rental and they weren’t added to the driver's list, you may lose your rental insurance rights.
Late fees vary depending on your location.
For some drop-off points, you'll be charged a specific late fee amount, e.g $100 for each hour you're late.
Whereas others will charge you for an extra day even if you're only a couple of hours late.
To avoid any nasty surprises, make sure you know the late fee rules of your specific return destination.
To rent an Ace vehicle in most locations across the US, you must be at least 21 years old.
Depending on the location, if you're under 25 or over 65, you may be charged at a higher rate than other age brackets. This is due to higher insurance fees.
The Ace Rent a Car under 25 fee and over 65 fee varies by location.
In some locations, you cannot rent an Ace vehicle if you're over 80.
