Buy Yeti Airlines Flights with Alternative Airlines

Based in Kathmandu, Nepal, Yeti Airlines operates flights within Nepal, alongside international operations as Himalaya Airlines. It is the parent company of Tara Air, and combined, the two airlines form the largest flight operator for the Nepalese domestic flight market.

Baggage Policy

Yeti Airlines offer its passengers the choice between checked baggage and carry-on baggage or both. The weight limit for each will vary.

Carry-on Baggage

Yeti Airlines passengers have a carry-on cabin bag allowance of 5kg maximum weight.

Checked Baggage

Lukla and Jomsom flights have a maximum check-in baggage weight of 10kg

All other routes have a maximum check-in luggage weight of 15kg.

If baggage exceeds the weight allowances, it will be charged at an excess baggage rate.

Check-In

Yeti Airlines currently only offers its passengers the option of checking in at the airport. Keep checking back to see if online check in becomes available.

Online Check-in

Online check-in is currently unavailable on Yeti Airlines flights. To check-in, passengers must visit their airport of departure with the relevant flight details.

Airport Check-in

Airport check-in is available on all Yeti Airlines flights and the only way to check-in. Airport check-in deadline times will differ depending on which airport the passenger is departing from. It's important to keep informed of airport check-in times, as Yeti Airlines have the right to deny boarding for any passenger that is late. Airport check-in can be completed by presenting the relevant travel documents to a Yeti Airlines check-in agent at the airport's check-in desk.

What a great way to be able to see my family back in South Africa. This is made possible since we can buy our tickets and pay it off over 4 months. With the price of flight tickets so high Alternative Airlines has been a literal lifesaver!

Yeti Airlines to expand its fleet

Yeti Airlines is planning to add two ATR72 aircraft to its fleet by the end of this month, as part of a larger plan to expand its fleet by 44% by the end of 2019. Yeti Airlines currently operates nine aircraft in total — six Jetstream 41s and three ATR72-500s.
