Multi-city flights with Riyadh Air FAQs

Where can I book multi-city Riyadh Air flights?

Riyadh Air hasn't started flying yet and isn't expected to launch operations until 2025. This means you unfortunately won't be able to search and book multi-city Riyadh Air flights at Alternative Airlines. Once it launches, it will likely operate domestic flights in Saudi Arabia as well as some international routes to major cities worldwide.

You can instead book multi-city flights with alternative airlines that we ticket such as Saudia, Flynas and Sky Prime Aviation.

To see the multi-city routes operated by Saudia, Flynas or other airlines, select your preferred airline within the search results. Pick the routes that work best for you and secure your booking at checkout - it's as easy as that!

Why should I book multi-city Riyadh Air flights with Alternative Airlines?

There are several benefits to booking your Riyadh Air multi-city flights with us at Alternative Airlines.

  • While Riyadh Air (once launched) may require booking each leg separately, Alternative Airlines lets you build your perfect itinerary with flights from various airlines, including Riyadh Air, all in one go!
  • Searching for multi-city flights on our platform means you can compare prices from Riyadh Air routes alongside other airlines that we ticket, so you can find the most cost-effective combination of flights for your multi-stop trip, without any limitations.
  • We have a fantastic Customer Service team that can help you with any queries or issues you might run into when booking and managing your multi-city flights.
  • We also offer additional services like Baggage Protection and Cancellation Protection for that extra layer of security on your booking.

Start your search for multi-city flights with Riyadh Air or any airline of your choice today with our multi-city search tool at the top of the page.

How far in advance should I book my multi-city Riyadh Air flights?

To get the best deals and secure your spot on the plane, we recommend booking your Riyadh Air multi-city flights at least 2-3 months in advance, especially during peak seasons (summer holidays, local festivals, religious journeys) or for popular routes. Flights tend to fill up and become more expensive the closer you get to your travel date.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to book Riyadh Air multi-city flights in advance just yet as the airline hasn't launched. It plans to launch in 2025. Once we start ticketing the airline, you'll be able to select Riyadh Air in the search results as your preferred airline to fly with.

Do I need a visa for each destination in my multi-city trip?

Yes, although this depends on your nationality and the countries you plan to visit on your multi-city trip. If you're a Saudi national and want to book multi-city flights within Saudi Arabia, you likely won't need to worry about visa requirements.

It doesn't matter which airline you fly with - entry requirements are set by each country. Make sure to research visa information for every stop on your trip, regardless of the airline.

For more information on visa requirements, take a look at our guide on travel visas before you fly. We also have a blog post completely dedicated to Saudi Arabia's visa requirements which might be worth checking out if you're not a resident of Saudi Arabia.

When will Riyadh Air flights be available?

Riyadh Air is currently in its soft launch phase, with full public flights expected to roll out gradually from early 2026.
