Emerald Airlines (Zimbabwe) is a startup Zimbabwean airline. The carrier was founded in 2017 and, as of 2020, has yet to commence flights. Currently, the airline is in the process of securing its AOC from the Zimbabwean Ministry of Transport.
Emerald Airlines (Zimbabwe) will offer domestic and regional flights from its hub at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International (HRE), in Zimbabwe.
The airline is expected to receive 50 seater jets, ready to use once the airline has launched. The make and model of these aircraft unknown.
Note: Emerald Airlines (Zimbabwe) is not to be confused with Emerald Airlines Ireland, which is also a startup airline but is based in Ireland.

Robert Gabriel Mugabe International, previously knowns as Harare International Airport is the main and largest airport in Zimbabwe and the current hub for Air Zimbabwe, FastJet Zimbabwe and will be the future hub of Emerald Airlines.
The airport opened in 1957 and has traditionally only been served by African carriers, due to the lack of tourism in Zimbabwe. Currently, the only non-African airlines to serve the airport are British Airways and Emirates.
Robert Gabriel Mugabe International was named Harare International Airport up until 2017 when the airport was renamed after former president Robert Mugabe.
