Copa Airlines Colombia is a domestic and international carrier based at Bogota’s international airport. The airline is a subsidiary of Copa Airlines. The airline is registered under the name of AeroRepublica S.A in 1992. Today, AeroRepublica uses the Copa Airlines branding in some destinations and the Wingo brand in others.
AeroRepublica first began operations in 1993 with a fleet of Boeing 727-100s, quickly expanding domestically to Cali, Medellin and Barranquilla, and internationally to Aruba and Cuba. In 2005, the airline was acquired by Copa Airlines and officially rebranded to a new identity as Copa Airlines Colombia in 2010. Copa Airlines Colombia currently holds the title of the second-largest airline in Colombia for international passenger traffic.

Carry-on Baggage
When flying with Copa Airlines Colombia, passengers are permitted one piece of cabin baggage and one personal item.
The carry-on baggage must not exceed the maximum dimensions of 56 x 36 x 26 cm (height x length x width). This must be easily placed in the overhead compartment. The maximum weight cannot exceed 10kg.
The personal item cannot be larger than 43 x 25 x 22 cm (height x length x width). This item must fit underneath the seat in front of you. A personal item can be a handbag/purse, a backpack, a portfolio or a laptop bag/case.
Checked Baggage
Your checked baggage allowance will depend on the fare type you have purchased with Copa Airlines Colombia. For all fare types, each passenger is allowed to check in up to 5 pieces of checked baggage.
Economy Basic: Each checked bag must not exceed the maximum weight of 23kg. Free checked baggage is not included in this fare - checked baggage needs to be purchased.
Economy Classic: 1 piece of checked baggage is included in the fare. Extra charges apply for additional baggage. Each piece of checked baggage mustn't weigh more than 23kg.
Economy Full: 2 pieces of checked baggage are included in the fare. Extra charges apply for additional baggage. Each piece of checked baggage cannot weigh more than 23kg.
Business Promo: 2 pieces of checked baggage are included in the fare. Extra charges apply for additional baggage. Each piece of checked baggage cannot weigh more than 32kg.
Business Full: 2 pieces of checked baggage are included in the fare. Extra charges apply for additional baggage. Each piece of checked baggage cannot weigh more than 32kg.
Cabin Classes
Copa Airlines Colombia, just like its parent company, offers two main cabins - Economy and Business (Dreams Business Class).
Economy Class
Economy Class on Copa Airlines Colombia flights offer standard seating arrangements with comfortable reclining seats. In-flight entertainment systems are included with movies, music and TV shows accessible via seatback screens.
Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and a light meal may be provided depending on the flight duration/route. Priority boarding is available to passengers with a higher fare type of elite status in the Copa Club loyalty program.
Business Class
Copa Airlines' business-class cabin is known as Dreams Business Class. It is spacious with fully reclining seats that convert into lie-flat beds for maximum comfort. Larger personal entertainment screens are provided with additional content options. There is an enhanced meal service with multiple courses and a wider selection of beverages, including alcoholic options.
When flying Business with Copa Airlines Colombia, you can take advantage of priority check-in, boarding and baggage handling. There is also access to Copa Club and VIP lounges at select airports.
Frequent Flyer Program
Copa Airlines Colombia's frequent flyer program is called ConnectMiles. With ConnectMiles, members can earn miles when flying with Copa Airlines, member airlines of the Star Alliance network, and other associated airlines, as well as with Copa Airlines' business partners (hotels and car rental companies).
Earning Miles
To earn miles, passengers need to fly with Copa Airlines, Star Alliance member airlines or other ConnectMiles partners. The amount of miles earned will depend on the fare class and distance flown. Copa Airlines credit cards can be used for everyday spending to earn extra miles.
Redeeming Miles
Passengers can redeem miles by booking flights with Copa Airlines, Star Alliance member airlines and other travel partners. You can update your flights to Business Class using miles, or you can pay for hotel stays, car rentals and other travel expenses. Merchandise is also available to purchase with miles through the ConnectMiles online store.
Membership Tiers
There are four membership tiers with ConnectMiles - Classic, Silver, Gold and Presidential. Each tier offers additional benefits such as bonus miles, priority boarding, lounge access and waived fees. To move up the tiers, members need to earn miles and fly more frequently with Copa Airlines.

El Dorado International Airport is located in Bogotá, Colombia. It is ranked among the world's 50 busiest airports in terms of: passenger traffic, cargo traffic and traffic movements. It is the largest airport in Colombia and the main international and domestic air gateway in the country, serving as an important hub for Avianca (the national flag carrier of Colombia), Copa Airlines, LAN Colombia, Satena, and other cargo companies such as Líneas Aéreas Suramericanas. A number of airlines also operate flights from this airport, including Avior Airlines, Cubana de Aviacion, Iberia, KLM and American Airlines.
Fleet
Copa Airlines Colombia doesn't have its own fleet - it instead uses aircraft from its parent company, Copa Airlines. The Copa Airlines fleet currently consists of:
