Tajikistan Airlines is the National Carrier of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the only airline of Tajikistan.

Tajikistan Airlines is based at the capital city, Dushanbe, and Khudzhand is the other domestic airport served. Internationally regular flights operate to Almaty, Bishkek, Urumqi, Sharjah, Tehran, Istanbul, Munich, Ekaterinaburg, Moscow Novosibirsk, and Samara.

Tajikistan is a relatively small but geographically significant country. It’s boundaries touch Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China. More airlines are beginning to fly Dushanbe airport, which was built in the sixties and is overdue for modernisation. Most connections are through Russian cities but Tajikistan Airlines once weekly flight on Saturdays from Munich remains a popular way of getting to the city.
