Shanghai Airlines

These are very important times for Shanghai Arlines, as this ground-breaking airline formally becomes a full partner in the prestigious Star Alliance alongside many of the great airlines of the world.

Shanghai Airlines Flights to China

22 years ago in 1985 Shanghai Airlines became the first independently run local airline in China. 12 years later it launched its first international route and today it is one of the most successful airlines in the most dynamic air travel in the world. Shanghai is now the largest city in China and ranks in the top ten cities worldwide when ranked by population.

Shanghai Airlines has an immense range of services to almost 70 cities within the People’s Republic of China (including Hong Kong and Macau). In addition they operate international services from Shanghai to Osaka, Seoul (the world’s largest city), Bangkok, Phuket, Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City.

Flights to Shanghai on Shanhai Airlines

With the inauguration of Pudong International Airport and its continued operational base at Hongqiao international airport, Shanghai Airlines has set up the mode of "one marketing centre and two operational bases". Note: There are two international airports in Shanghai. If you transit to local flights, be sure to check whether the flight departs from Hongqiao Airport (SHA) or Pudong airport (PVG).
