Fly540 Angola is due to start operating daily flights with daily flights from Luanda to Cabinda and on to Soyo, later this month.
The new domestic services are likely to begin with a single aircraft serving the north of the country from the capital Luanda three times a day. In the future an additional two aircraft are contracted to arrive from Europe within four to six weeks.
UK quoted company owner, Lonrho has invested $10 million in the airline so far and the Kenyan low fares airline Fly540 has been operating in Kenya since 2006 and future plans include starting a West Africa regional operation out of Ghana’s capital, Accra, flying to Senegal and Equatorial Guinea.
