Avianca launches direct service between Bogota and San Salvador


From August 09th 2101  Avianca/ TACA will fly between Bogota and San Salvador, with a daily, nonstop service.

The route will be initially served by Avianca, which will become the first airline to directly link the two countries.  Flights between the two capitals will be served by modern Airbus A-319 aircraft with 120 seats split 12 Business Class seats and 108 in Economy.

"With the launch of this new route, Avianca-TACA advances its primary purpose is to provide greater opportunities for American travelers on the routes connecting northern, central and southern America," said Fabio Villegas Ramirez, Executive Chairman Company. The new route will optimize the use of hubs of TACA in the Central American country and Avianca in Bogota. While travelers Bogota-San Salvador can connect quickly and efficiently with cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas and New York (USA) and Toronto (Canada) covered by TACA; travelers on the route San Salvador to Bogotá may connect to Avianca's international netwrok including flights to europe.

The new daily flights will operate with the following schedule: 
Bogota-Salvador Daily 11:55 hours 14:00
Salvador-Bogota Daily 14:55 hours 19:00
