A total of 15 new international routes will be operated by the the three Colombian airlines Avianca, Aires and Aero beginning summer 2010 plus new entrant AerOasis announces launch later this year

Starting July, Avianca will offer the flight on the new routes between Medellin and Madrid plus an additional daily flight from Bogota to the Mexico City and a new regular flight between Bogota and San Salvador.
Aires will begin the operation of new international routes with Bogota to New York starting on June 25, Cartagena to Fort Lauderdale and Pereira to Fort Lauderdale beginning in August with a further planned expansion to include flights to Panama, Toronto, Lima, Sao Paulo, Quito and Cancun.
Finally new Colombian domestic airline AerOasis has announced that it plans to begin service before the end of 2010, initially with three Airbus A320s. AerOasis is in talks with Chilean airline LAN, and the two carriers may work in partnership. AerOasis will be based in Bogota and has already been approved for fourteen domestic routes.
