Voyage Air is a private airline based at Varna International Airport, in Bulgaria, providing international scheduled passenger flights to destinations across Europe.
Established in 2006, Voyage Air started out as a company dealing with the selling and maintenance of aircraft. Since then, it became the general distributor in the entire area of Bulgaria for one of the leading German aircraft producers, and later, created a state of the art online booking system for the sale of aircraft seats and hotel accommodation. In 2015, Voyage Air was issued an Aircraft Operation License (AOC) BG-53, allowing them to transport passengers and cargo.
Today, Voyage Air uses over a decade of aviation expertise to fly passengers from Bulgaria to other European countries, including Poland, Germany and Austria.
Baggage Policy
Voyage Air has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage policy.
Carry-on Baggage
Carry-on baggage is free of charge for passengers, as long as it does not exceed the maximum weight of 6 kilograms. Only one item of carry-on baggage per passenger is allowed onto the aircraft. Carry-on baggage should not exceed the dimensions 55x40x20cm, as this size allows the baggage to fit either under the seat or in the overhead locker.
Passengers are required to show their carry-on baggage at check-in so that a member of staff can confirm that the baggage is the correct size and weight for the aircraft specifications. Any outsize or overweight items will be removed from the baggage, tagged, and stored in the aircraft hold. Passengers can reclaim these items from the luggage belt at the airport of the destination that they are flying to.
Checked Baggage
Adults and children are entitled to a free checked baggage allowance of up to 20 kilograms. Infants (0-2 years old) are allowed a free checked baggage allowance of up to 10 kilograms.
Cabin Classes
Voyage Air only offers the standard Economy Class.
Seats
The aircraft that you travel in provides for a comfortable and spacious flight, despite Economy being the only cabin class available. The staff on board also help make your flight an enjoyable experience, by being attentive and friendly. Seats can be pre-booked before the flight, during the flight booking process.
Facilities
Onboard snacks, beverages and warm meals are available for purchase. On all flights, adjustable lighting, air-con, and W/C facilities are available.

The airline does not currently offer a frequent flyer program.
Airline Alliance
The airline is not currently part of an airline alliance program.
Check-In
Voyage Air passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check in yet.
Online Check-in
Currently, online check-in is not currently available. However, it is expected to be available soon, so be sure to check the Voyage Air website soon to see when it is available.
Airport Check-in
Passengers must check in at the airport. The check-in desk opens 2 hours before the scheduled flight departure, and closes 40 minutes before the flight departs.
Special Services
Voyage Air will strive to provide special services for those with disabilities or requiring additional assistance. It is advised to contact our customer service team before you book, or at least 48 hours before the flight departs, to avoid disappointment.

Voyage Air is set to begin at least 8 new services from Varna, to international destinations including: Austria, Germany, and Poland. The airline has previously struggled to take-off, so the introduction of these new routes promises an exciting future for the airline.

Varna Airport
Varna airport is the third largest airport in Bulgaria. Sitting on the Northern Black Sea coast, Varna airport serves a number of domestic flights, as well as connecting northeast Bulgaria to many major cities across the globe, including Sofia, Moscow, Cøpenhagen, and London. Due to many airlines operating on a seasonal service, the airport enjoys an especially busy period in the summer.
The airport currently operates flights from one terminal, Terminal 2. This terminal opened in 2013, it has modern systems for passenger check-in and baggage handling, and lots of space for arrivals and departures. An estimated 1.8 million passengers pass through the terminal every year.
Terminal 1 is currently not active for flights, having been closed several times since being built in 1972. The only purpose Terminal 1 currently serves lies in its recently renovated VIP room and business lounge, which passengers with the permitted access can still enjoy.
