As a global flight booking platform, Alternative Airlines continues to invest in technology that improves the customer experience and gives travellers greater choice throughout their journey. This year, that investment has included the introduction of Skyline, a new booking and customer service management platform that brings booking and post-booking processes together. It helps teams manage bookings, ticketing and additional products such as seats and baggage, while creating a stronger foundation for future improvements.

This focus on improving the booking experience also extends to how customers pay. Alternative Airlines has expanded its flexible payment offering by partnering with global payment providers in markets including Brazil, the Netherlands and the Philippines, giving customers access to more locally relevant ways to pay for their flights.

At the same time, Alternative Airlines is continuing to strengthen its airline connectivity, with its first direct airline integration with Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier. The integration gives customers access to the airline’s expanding network, fares and ancillary products, including seats and baggage, while supporting a more connected booking experience.

The company is also looking to expand beyond flights, with car rental set to launch soon. The new offering will allow travellers to compare vehicles and prices from leading providers across the USA, with flexible payment options including buy now, pay later, giving customers even more choice when planning and paying for their travel.
