Summer (December to February)
Pretoria's summer is hot and rainy, with temperatures reaching highs of 30 °C (86 °F) during the day! It may be too hot for outdoor activities but you'll have a great time experiencing Pretoria's nightlife and indoor attractions later on in the day.
Suitable for swimming and water sports, exploring Pretoria's nightlife and visiting museums, art galleries and shopping centres.
