Eznis Airways is a Mongolian airline based in Ulaanbaatar. The airline offers both charter and scheduled services. The two scheduled destinations that the airline is currently serving is between Ulaanbaatar, Busan and Hong Kong with a fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft.
Te airline was first launched in 2006 but ceased operations in 2014 due to financial difficulties and was relaunched in 2019. Eznis Airways was once the largest domestic airline in the country and it was authorised to fly to Russia, China and Kazakhstan.
Baggage Policy
Different baggage policies apply for those travelling with Eznis Airways.
Carry-on Baggage
Passengers receive a carry-on allowance of two pieces with a total weight of no more than 8kg. The total dimensions must not exceed 120cm (47") or 55cm x 40cm x 25cm.
These carry-on items can be personal items as long as it doesn't contain any prohibited items including any fluid exceeding 100ml.
Any items carried onboard must fit within the carry-on baggage allowance or it must be transported as checked baggage.
Checked Baggage
Checked baggage allowance varies depending on the fare type they purchased.
EZ FLEX passengers are entitled to one piece of 25kg checked baggage.
EZ NIS passengers are entitled to one piece of 20kg checked baggage.
EZ PAY passengers can buy checked baggage with a fee.
All checked baggage must fit within 158cm (62") in the sum of three dimensions.
Cabin Classes
Eznis Airways offers three fare classes, EZ PAY, EZ NIS and EZ FLEX. Each of them offers various flexibility to the flight and different baggage allowance.
EZ PAY tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable, meaning there's no flexibility once tickets have been booked. However, it's the cheapest fare class for passengers, perfect for a cheap getaway.
EZ NIS tickets allows date change on the tickets with a fee and passengers may have to pay the fare difference for the new ticket.
EZ FLEX gives passengers the most flexibility, date change is free to up to three times and refunds are available with a fee.
Check-In
Passengers flying with Eznis Airways aren't able to check-in for their flight online.
Online Check-in
Online check-in isn't available on the airline website.
Passengers must check-in at the airport.
Airport Check-in
Passengers must check-in before the airline check-in deadline. Passengers should report to the airline check-in counters directly as soon as they arrive at the airport. The check-in area for Eznis Airways will be indicated on the departure information board.
At Alternative Airlines, we recommend passengers to arrive at the airport two hours before the scheduled departure time to give them sufficient time to check-in.
Special Assistance
Travelling with Children and Infants
Passengers under the age of 2 (23 months or younger) are considered infants and will be classified as children once they reach their 2nd birthday.
Passengers aged 2 to 11 years (24-143 months) are classified as children, and they will be considered adults when they celebrate their 12th birthday.
Please note that Eznis Airways cannot accommodate infants who are under 14 days old, even if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you or a member of your party require wheelchair assistance, please contact us or Eznis Airways directly at least 48 hours prior to your flight departure time.

Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport (ULN) is an international airport located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The airport is mainly used by general aviation, charter and government flights. Besides Eznis Airways, the airport is also a hub for Aero Mongolia, Hunnu Air and MIAT Mongolian Airlines.
The airport will be replaced by the new Ulaanbaatar International Airport, but currently it's serving many airlines including, but not limited to, Aeroflot, Air China, Asiana Airlines, IrAero, Korean Air and Turkish Airlines.
