Intersky started operations in 2002, and was an Austrian airline headquartered in Bregenz. The airline operated scheduled services from its base at Friedrichshafen Airport, in Germany, to major cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Other airlines that operate from Friedrichshafen Airport include Air Serbia, British Airways, Corendon Airlines, and EasyJet. The airline also operated seasonal holiday flights to the Mediterranean from other airports.
The airline ceased operations on the evening of 5 November 2015 due to financial difficulties.

Unfortunately, Intersky no longer flies and is unable to accept reservations. When the airline flew, it offered a low-cost service, with economy seating. No on-board entertainment system was available, but snacks and beverages were available to purchase.
