About TruJet
Trujet was a regional low-cost airline operating flights in India from its base in Hyderabad. This airline had its base at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, with another hub at Chennai. They were founded in 2013 and obtained their flying and operational certificates in 2014, ready to begin their flying operations in July 2015.
Trujet ceased operations in February 2022 due to a financial crisis.
Baggage Allowance

Passengers were permitted one piece of hand luggage with them, which could not exceed 7kg in weight, or exceed the dimensions of 50+24+20m.
Checked Baggage
Checked baggage for Trujet flights was limited to 15kg per person. This could not exceed the total combined dimensions (length + width + height) of 158cm.
Check-in Information
Online check-in
Passengers were encouraged to check-in for their flights online. This saved time and energy queuing at the airport check-in.
This service was available between 48 hours and 2 hours before your flight was scheduled to depart.
Airport check-in
If passengers were not able to check in online prior to arriving at the airport, they could do so at the airport. You could visit the airport check-in desk for Trujet to proceed with the check-in process.

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is an airport serving Hyderabad, providing both international, domestic and regional flight. It was opened in 2008 to replace the old Begumpet Airport, and currently has one passenger terminal, a cargo terminal and also two runways. 2017-18 saw the airport deal with 18.15 million passengers, making it the sixth busiest airport in India.
This airport is not only the former hub for TruJet but also a current hub for airlines such as SpiceJet, Blue Dart Aviation and Air India Regional. A number of other airlines also operate services from this airport including Etihad, Alliance Air, Saudia, Vistara and GoAir.
Fleet
TruJet operated a fleet of ATR 72-500 and ATR 72-600 aircraft before ceasing operations in 2022.
