About SAT Airlines

SAT Airlines was an airline based in Sakhalin, Russia. SAT Airlines' main hub was at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport. The airline provided regional services in the Russia Far East region to destinations across China, South Korea and Japan. SAT Airlines also offered charter flights, search and rescue operations, firefighting and aerial patrols.

In 2012, the airline was amalgamated with Vladivostok Air to form a new carrier Aurora.

Baggage Allowance

Your SAT Airlines baggage allowance depended on the ticket fare you purchased when booking and the destination you were travelling to/from.

Economy Class - Passengers who were departing from Incheon were permitted to a total of 30 kg in combined carry-on and checked baggage.

Economy Class - Passengers departing from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk were allowed to bring a total of 20 kg in combined carry-on and checked baggage.

Business Class - Passengers could bring up to 40 kg in carry-on and checked baggage in total.

Passengers who were flying to/from Incheon Airport were limited to a maximum of 5kg per piece of carry-on baggage.
