About NewGen Airways
Newgen Airways was a Thai international scheduled passenger carrier, that concentrated on flights from Thailand to China. Before ceasing operations, the airline was based at Bangkok's Don Mueang international Airport.
The airline operated both scheduled and private charter services from Don Mueang International Airport and 5 other Thailand hubs: U-Tapao International Airport, Krabi International Airport, Phuket International Airport, Surat Thani International Airport and Nakhon Ratchasima Airport. In total, the airline flew to 30 destinations in China.
Unfortunately, the airline had to suspend all flights in August 2019, before, shortly afterwards, ceasing operations for good.

Don Mueang International Airport
Don Mueang International Airport is considered to be Asia’s oldest functioning airport and one of the world’s oldest international airports. The airport was opened in 1914 and commercial flights began in 1924. Renovations took place in 2006 and in 2007 was reopened, becoming a regional commuter flight hub. The airport has seen over 38 million passengers come through. Don Mueang international Airport has 2 terminals (Terminal 1: International, Terminal 2: Domestic).
Fleet
Before it ceased operations, NewGen Airways operated a fleet of Boeing 737-400 and Boeing 737-800. The aircraft were capable of carrying up to 180 passengers in a single class of service: Economy.
