MedSky is the first Libyan commercial airline to fly in European skies ever since the European Union halted direct flights to/from Libya (due to the aftermath of the second civil war outbreak in 2014).
MedSky Airways has a fleet of 2 aircraft however only one is in service while the other (previously operated by Malta MedAir) is due to be delivered.

Misrata International Airport is an international airport serving Misrata in Libya. The airport is operated by the Libyan Airports Authority and is used as an air base and training centre for the Libyan Air Force. The airport's passenger terminal was destroyed by a fire in 2020 however it has since been rebuilt.
