Marianas Southern Airways is a new airline in the Mariana Islands. It plans to launch in July 2022 by using the air operator certificate (AOC) of the US carrier Southern Airways Express.
The airline has a joint venture between Southern Airways Express and Marianas Islands real estate company, Saipan MP Enterprises. The joint venture will be operating domestic flights in the Marianas Islands and an international service which will be joining the Marianas Islands capital Saipan to Guam.

Marianas Southern Airways will be operating over 90 flights a week to Saipan, Rota, Guam and Tinian.
Baggage Allowance
Carry-on Baggage
Most airlines will allow a free cabin baggage (H56cm x W45cm x D25cm) and a small personal item such as, a briefcase, during long haul flights. During short-haul flights some airlines will charge you for a carry-on and some will offer them for free. Marianas Southern Airlines hasn't launched information on carry-on baggage but its likely that you will be able to bring a small personal item that will fit under the seat in front of you.
Please ensure that you are not packing prohibited items inside your carry-on baggage, this includes any liquids over 100ml. Any prohibited items will be removed from your bag at security.
Checked Baggage
Your baggage allowance will depend on the fare class that you purchased for the flight. Although the information on the checked baggage has not been launched, International flights will allow you to bring a free checked baggage that will be included in flight price. However on domestic flights airlines will most likely charge you for checked baggage this will range from 24kg-32kg. As hard as it is not to over pack, your checked baggage mustn't exceed 32kg due to health and safety reasons.

Online check-in is very easy and simple. Most airlines allow you to check in from 30 days to 24 hours before your flight departure time. Online check-in information will be available to you once Marianas Southern Airways starts operating.
Airport Check-In
Airport check-in usually opens 3 hours before your flight departure. Please allow enough time to arrive at the airport. Once Marianas Southern Airways begins operating, check-in information will be available to you on your itinerary.
Seats
Marianas Southern Airways provides ergonometric seats for a comfortable journey. Each seat has a LED reading light, as well as an armrest and a cupholder.

Although Marianas Southern Airways has announced its food options, most airlines offer food and beverages that you can purchase on all flights over 1 hour. During long-haul flights Mariana's Southern Airways will provide you with a least 1 meal that will be included in your flight price.

Saipan International Airport, also known as Franciso C. Ada/Saipan International Airport is based in Saipan Island in the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. The airport is owned by the Commonwealth Ports Authority. The airport most popular destinations includes flights to Guam, Tinian and Rota in the Mariana islands. The runway is over 8,500 feet long and 150 feet wide. The airport is also a hub for Marianas Pacific Airlines.

Marianas Southern Airways will be using its Tecnam P2012 Travel aircraft which will be named as “Spirit of Saipan”, is known for being the world’s most advanced twin-engine turbocharged piston aircraft.
Southern Airways Express will be expanding and adding 2 new Tecnam P2012 aircrafts, which will act on behalf of Marianas Southern Airways.
The aircraft has a capacity of 9 passengers on-board.
