LAPERU or Línea Aérea de Bandera del Perú is a government-owned low-cost carrier based at Lima International Airport in Peru. It's the first state-owned low-cost carrier in the world. It would also be the first Peruvian operating domestic routes in Peru. The current Peruvian routes are operated by foreign airlines including Viva Air, Sky Airline, LATAM and Avianca.
The details of the airline launch are yet to be revealed but it's likely that the airline would acquire a fleet of Airbus 320 aircraft operating routes out of Lima International Airport to cities like Cuzco and Trujillo.

Carry-on Baggage
Details of carry-on baggage allowance haven't been announced. As a general rule, carry-on bags must fit in the overhead lockers and under the seat. No prohibited items are allowed onboard including any fluid exceeding 100ml. Baby milk and food are exempt from these restrictions but it's subject to airport security.
Checked Baggage
No details are available as of December 2020, but any oversized baggage or any baggage exceeding 32kg would not be accepted by the airline due to international health and safety regulations.
Check-In
It's yet to be confirmed whether or not LAPERU will offer its passengers the chance to check in for their flight online.
Online Check-in
LAPERU hasn't announced whether it'd offer online check-in for its passengers, but as a low-cost airline, it's likely that it would offer this service.
Airport Check-in
The airline hasn't announced its check-in policies and deadline. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport two hours before the departure time regardless if it's a domestic or international flight. Passengers should report to the airline check-in counters as soon as they arrive. The airline check-in counters should be located in the departure hall at the airport, the exact location would be displayed on the departure information board.
Passengers must report to check-in before the check-in deadline or they may result in loss of fare. If you are not familiar with the airport layout, please leave plenty of time to check-in and boarding.

Lima International Airport (LIM) is Peru's main international and domestic airport. It's located in Callao, Peru and 11km from Lima. LATAM Peru is also based at the airport. The airport is serving over 20 million passengers per annum with its single runway and two passenger terminals. Other airlines that fly in and out of the airport are Air France, Delta, Iberia, JetSmart, Sky Airline, Star Peru, Viva Air Peru, Fly Peru and many more.
Fleet
As of December 2020, the airline is planning to deploy a fleet of Airbus 320. However, these plans are not confirmed.
