About Korea Express Air
Korea Express Air was a small Korean Airline which was founded in 2005 as South Korea’s first regional airline. The airline was based in its head office, located in Nam-myeon in South Korea.
It was originally a domestic airline offering domestic flights in South Korea, but as of 2016, the airline commenced an additional service of flights to Japan, giving 6 total routes. The airline served the following destinations: Jeju, Yangyang, Busan and Muan. This was served by its fleet, which consisted of two planes.
Korea Express Air ceased operations in 2020.
Baggage Allowance
Carry-on Baggage
Passengers were allowed to bring one carry-on luggage, or hand luggage piece, free of charge. This had to weigh 10kg or less. The usual restrictions apply to this in that you are not allowed explosives, compressed gas or flammable materials for example. Check with the airline to find a full list of restricted items.
Checked Baggage
Passengers were allowed one piece of checked luggage free of charge, weighing no more than 15kg per person. Excess baggage in either additional bags or heavier weights will be charged for.
Check-In Information
Korean Express Air opened its check-in desk 1 hour prior to scheduled departure. This closed 20 minutes before departure. To do this, you had to visit a Korean Express Air check-in counter at the airport where a member of staff would assist you in checking you in and processing any checked luggage you may have. Korean Express Air asked that you boarded at the boarding gate 20 minutes before departure. This closed 10 minutes before departure.
