Kayala Airline has ceased operations
Kayala Airline has ceased operations and is no longer flying as of 2009.
Kayala Airline, a premium-class airline, was headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This privately owned airline operated both domestic and international scheduled flights, along with charter services. Its primary hub was located at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, with an additional base at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
The airline commenced its operations on the 16th of July 2005, and it was fully owned by the Saudi aviation company National Air Services. Initially, it operated under the name "Al-Khayala" until 6 May 2008.
Unfortunately, on 1 April 2009, the company declared bankruptcy, leading to the complete cessation of all operations.
Check-In Information
Passengers we're allowed to check in online for their Kayala Airlines flight 48 hours prior to the departure time. If you were unable to check in online, you could check in at the airport 3 hours prior to the flight departure time.
Frequent Flyer Program
Kayala Airlines did not offer a frequent flyer program, which allowed its passengers to earn and redeem points.

King Abdulaziz International Airport
King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) also referred to as Jeddah International Airport is an international airport serving the region of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
This airport is one the busiest airports in Saudi Arabia, serving over 40 million passengers yearly. The airport has 3 operational passenger terminals: the North Terminal, the Hajj Terminal, and the recently constructed Terminal 1. The Hajj Terminal was specifically designed to accommodate Muslim pilgrims travelling to Mecca for the annual Hajj pilgrimage. Additionally, the South Terminal, originally the fourth terminal, was repurposed into a COVID-19 vaccine centre in 2020.
This airport is a hub for flyadeal, Flynas, and Saudia. Other airlines that fly to and from this airport include Aegean Airlines, Air Arabia, Batik Air, Cyprus Airways, Daallo Airlines, Air India, Air China and many more.
