Baggage Policy
Jat Airways had different baggage policies for carry-on and checked baggage.
Carry-on Baggage
Your baggage allowance varied depending on the destinations to which you were travelling, fare class and route. Economy Class passengers were allowed to bring one piece of checked baggage with a maximum weight limit of 23 kg. Business Class passengers often had a higher allowance, such as two pieces of checked baggage with a higher weight limit.
Checked Baggage
Jat Airways allowed passengers to bring one piece of carry-on baggage as well as a personal item such as a handbag or laptop bag. The maximum weight limit for carry-on baggage was 8 kg, and the dimensions were limited to certain size restrictions (e.g., 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm).
Cabin Classes
Jat Airways passengers could choose to fly in Economy Class, which was the most standard fare type or in Business Class.
In-flight Entertainment & WIFI
Jat Airways didn't offer any form of in-flight entertainment.
Check-In
Jat Airways had different check in policies depending on whether you decided to check in online or at the airport.
Online Check-in
Jat Airways allowed passengers to check in online prior to their flight departure time through the website or mobile app. Online check-in typically opened 36 to 48 hours before the scheduled departure time and allowed passengers to select their seats, and print out their boarding passes.
Airport Check-in
If you were unable to check in for your Jat Airways flight online, then you could check in at the airport kiosk.
Frequent Flyer Programme
Jat Airways' frequent flyer programme was called 'Extra Flight Club'. Members of Jat Airways' frequent flyer programme could earn and spend points when flying with the airline. Once a member earned enough points, passengers could claim a free flight ticket.

Air Serbia's new route to New York
Air Serbia just launched its first trans-Atlantic service since 1992 from Belgrade to New York. In the short run, Air Serbia expects to serve nonstop passengers, however, they expect to serve more connecting passengers to its neighbour countries in the coming years.
After Etihad bought 49% of the company in 2013, they have not kept from making changes and restructuring. The name change and the lay off of almost half the staff of former JAT Airways was just the beginning. Corporate restructuring and a complete change in the company's values made a huge impact on their performance. Three years later, Air Serbia is set to add $1 billion to Serbia's economy and contribute with more than 100 thousand jobs.
