Hans Airways is a UK start-up airline that was first established in 2019. The airline’s first flight is due to take off this year from Birmingham to Amritsar following a delayed launch due to COVID-19. The route is planned to run for an initial four times weekly service.
The hub for the airline has not yet been announced. However, with London and Birmingham being the only 2 UK destinations that it plans to have within its initial route network, it's very likely that the airline will base itself from one of those destinations.
Hans Airways is set to be a fully hybrid airline with plans to fly both long-haul and short-haul scheduled flights from the UK.
Cabin Classes
The airline has only announced its widebody fleet so far, which will most likely be used for long-haul flights. For these flights, the airline will split the cabin into two classes – Economy Class (Anand) and Premium Economy (Anand Plus).
Economy Class
The airline promises a great service from when you arrive at the airport up until you land, with a great-value ticket that includes meals, in-flight entertainment and more.
Seats
Seats are set out in a 2 x 4 x 2 configuration and have a 31" seat pitch.
Premium Economy
The main difference between the Premium Economy and Economy cabin classes is that Premium Economy offers larger seats with more legroom.
If you fly Premium Economy you will be the first to enter and leave the plane.
Seats
Seats are set out in a 2 x 3 x 2 configuration. Premium Economy seats are slightly larger and give more legroom than seats in Economy Class. They have a 56" seat pitch.
In-flight Entertainment & WIFI
The airline has an in-flight entertainment system installed on all its long-haul flights, with seatback screens. In-flight entertainment includes a range of movies, music and important information on the flight and destinations that passengers are travelling to.
On short-haul flights, it's not yet known whether there'll be in-flight entertainment on the flight.
Food & Drink
Complimentary meals and drinks are served on all long-haul flights.
On short-haul flights, it's likely that you will be able to purchase lighter meals, snacks and drinks once in-flight. It's unclear at this time whether this will be included within the price of the ticket or not.
Check-In
Alternative Airlines advises that you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your flight departure time.
Online Check-in
The airline is likely to offer online check-in.
Airport Check-in
You will be able to check in at the airport for your flight. You must present your travel documents to a member of staff at the check-in desk.
Frequent Flyer Programme
Hans Airways' frequent flyer programme is called 'HAPEEI'.
HAPEEI
HAPEEI is Hans Airways' frequent flyer program. The frequent flyer program works the same way that a traditional frequent flyer program would work, in that you are given many different benefits, including earning air miles to redeem for future flights. On top of that, if opted in, for every mile that you fly with Hans Airways, the HAPEEI frequent flyer program will donate to charity for educational institutions, and provide support to conservation and water preservation projects in India.

Hans Airways hasn't revealed which airport it will use as its hub. However, the airline has announced both London and Birmingham as destinations that it'll fly from. As Hans Airways is a UK airline, it's most likely that it'll use one of these destinations to base itself. This means that airline could be based at either London Gatwick (LGW), London Heathrow (LHR), London Luton (LTN), London Stansted (STN) or Birmingham Airport (BHX).

The only confirmed route that the airline has announced that it will fly is to Amritsar, India from either Birmingham or London. Hans Airways is yet to announce all the destinations it plans to fly to.

Hans Airways has a fleet of Airbus A330-200 that it uses. These planes have 281 seats, 6 toilets, 7 galleys and 8 exits. The Airbus A330-200 is a widebody plane that is used for long-haul flights. It's not yet known which planes the airline will use for short-haul flights.
