About FlyEgypt
FlyEgypt was an Egyptian airline that offered low-cost and charter flights. The airline was based at Cairo International Airport (CAI) and flew to destinations within Egypt, as well as to cities in the Middle East. Overall, the airline flew to more than 10 destinations.
The airline launched in 2015, with a flight between Cairo and Jeddah. Soon after, it launched domestic flights and expanded its route network to other international destinations.
Baggage Policy
Carry-on Baggage
Unless stated otherwise, passengers were entitled to one item of free carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg.
Checked Baggage
Passengers were entitled to 20 kg of free checked baggage on domestic flights.
The free checked baggage allowance for international flights depended on the route of the flight and would be advised at the time of booking or found on the e-ticket.

Online check-in wasn't available on FlyEgypt flights.
Airport Check-in
Passengers had to check in at the airport for their FlyEgypt flight. This could be done by visiting one of the airline check-in agents at the check-in desk. Check-in deadlines differed depending on the route flown. However, it was suggested that passengers arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to departure for domestic flights and three hours prior to departure for international flights.

Cairo International Airport is an airport in Cairo, Egypt and was the hub airport for FlyEgypt. It's the busiest airport in Egypt and one of the main gateways into the country, facilitating flights from airlines flying to/from Africa, Asia and Europe.
Air Cair, EgyptAir, Alexandria Airlines and Nile Air are based at Cairo International International. Other airlines that fly to/from the airport include Jazeera Airways, AlMasria Universal Airlines, Air Cairo, Lufthansa, Tunisair, Yemenia and many more
