For ATR72 EWA Flights (Madagascar, Comores, Tanzanie):

Passengers are allowed 1 free carry-on bag, which must not exceed 115cm in combined dimensions (length + width + height). Carry-on baggage must not exceed 6kg in weight.

For 737 Flights Between Mayotte and Reunion Island:

Passengers are allowed to bring 1 piece of free carry-on bag, which must not exceed 115cm in combined dimensions (length + width + height). Carry-on baggage must not exceed 10kg in weight.

For flights carried out in ATR72 EWA (Madagascar, Comoros, Tanzania)

Passengers are allowed 1 x 20kg checked bag unless otherwise stated on your ticket. Checked baggage is restricted to being 300cm or under for the sum of the three dimensions (length + width + height).

Please note that a 10kg checked baggage in included in your baby's ticket (under 2 years old)

For flights carried out in 737 between Mayotte and Reunion

Passengers are permitted to check baggage, with each piece not exceeding 23 kg in weight.

Ewa Air do not currently offer passengers the ability to check-in online for their flights.

Passengers should head to the airport to check-in for their flights. An electronic ticket and valid passport will be required at check-in in order to produce a boarding pass.

Check-in at the airport will be available between 2 hours and 45 minutes before your scheduled flight departure time.

Ewa Air allows children between the ages of 4 and 11 to travel only, using the unaccompanied minor (UM) service.

When you arrive at the airport, you will be required to complete an "unaccompanied child" form. Once the registration is finalised, your child will receive a folder containing essential documents for their journey and identification. At the airport, a transit agent will oversee your child during departure procedures and subsequently hand them over to the flight crew during boarding. Upon boarding, one of our onboard staff members will take care of your child. Upon arrival, your child will be entrusted to the designated person who has come to collect them.

Due to operational and security considerations, there may be restrictions on the number of passengers with reduced mobility travelling on a given flight. If you've made a reservation for an Ewa Air flight and you require assistance due to reduced mobility, it is crucial that you notify us or contact the airline directly. This should be done no later than 48 hours before your departure, with a minimum of 7 days before your scheduled flight.
