About Direktflyg
Direktflyg (Svenska Direktflyg AB) was a Swedish airline which operated scheduled services from its main hub in the capital of Sweden, Stokholm. It was a regional airline focusing on domestic flights.
The airline was founded in 2000 and commenced operations in October of the same year.
The aim of Direktflyg was to bring together Skyway Holding's regional carriers, Air Express, Highland Air and Airborne, into one consolidated operation.
In January 2015, Direktflyg ceased most of its scheduled operations and started concentrating on the route between Östersund and Umeå. Some of the former services had been transferred to AIS Airlines and rebranded accordingly. AIS Airlines had already served as a major codeshare operator for Direktflyg.
Since 2016, all flights are operated by AIS Airlines.

Baggage
Carry-on Baggage
AIS Airlines (now operating Direktflyg flights) allows each passenger one piece of carry-on baggage weighing no more than 6kg. Carry-on baggage must not exceed dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 23cm.
Checked Baggage
The free baggage allowance for AIS Airlines passengers, which now operates Direktflyg flights, is 15kg. If your baggage exceeds the allowance you will be charged €15 per kilo of excess baggage.

Online Check-In
Online check-in was not available for Direktflyg flights (currently run by AIS Airlines).
Airport Check-In
Direktflyg flights are now operated by AIS Airlines. AIS Airlines recommend leaving lots of time before check-in to avoid delays. Airport check-in opens 60 minutes prior to flight departure and closes 30 minutes prior.

The airline operated a fleet of Jetstream 32 aircraft, which have a maximum capacity of 19 passengers. As the airline operated only short-haul flights, onboard facilities are limited. There was no catering service, but the airports offered a range of meal and snack options which were available to purchase before flying.
