Charlie Airlines, operating as Cyprus Airways, is a Cypriot airline that offers international flights from its main base at Larnaca International Airport. Charlie Airlines is the subsidiary airline of Russian carrier S7 Airlines (Siberian Airlines)
Charlie Airlines was founded in 2016 and originally launched under the Charlie Airlines name. However, after Cyprus Airways (another Cypriot airline) ceased operations in 2015, Charlie Airlines gained the rights to use the Cyprus Airways name and brand and has since operated as Cyprus Airways.
Although both airlines operated from Larnaca International Airport, the destinations that Charlie Airlines flies to are not that similar to the destinations that the old Cyprus Airways flew to.

Carry-on Baggage
Under the Cyprus Airways name, passengers are permitted to carry one item of hand luggage per person. This item must not weigh more than 10kg in weight, and measure no more than 55 x 40 x 20cm.
Checked Baggage
Passengers travelling with Charlie Airlines (Cyprus Airways) are permitted 1 x 23kg luggage per person, which must fit the total combined dimensions of 203cm (Length + Width + Height).

Charlie Airlines can check in online for their flights via the Cyprus Airways online check-in page. This service is open 30 hours before scheduled flight departure time, and will close 50 minutes before.

Passengers who have not checked in for their flights online must do so at the airport. To complete check in, visit the Cyprus Airways check-in counter with plenty of time to complete check-in.

Larnaca International Airport is Cyprus’ main gateway to the rest of the world, and the largest airport in the country. It handles a lot of passengers, with 2017 seeing it handle 7.7 million passengers. It is the airport hub for Cyprus Airways, Aegean Airlines and Tus Airways, but also runs services for airlines such as Blue Air, Norwegian and Ural Airlines.

New Cyprus Airways announces first three destinations
Cyprus Airways has announced the first three destinations that will be included in its flight schedule for the first phase of its launch, to begin in June 2017.
Based in Larnaca, the airline will operate scheduled flights to Heraklion, Rhodes, and Tel Aviv, with two additional destinations to be announced in the next few weeks.
In 2017, Cyprus Airways will operate its Airbus A319 aircraft, offering 144 Economy seats. In Autumn, the airline will announce a revised and extended flight schedule to be implemented in March 2018, with the arrival of a second aircraft of the same type. The airline is currently looking into adding more aircraft by the end of 2018.
