Since Brindabella Airlines is no longer operating, please take a look at the following alternative airlines who fly similar routes:
Brindabella Airlines ceased operations in 2013 and is no longer flying.
Brindabella Airlines was an Australian regional airline based at Canberra Airport, operating both scheduled and charter flights across eastern Australia.
Founded in 1994, the airline began as a charter service before expanding into scheduled regional routes in 2003. It connected smaller communities such as Cobar, Moree and Narrabri with larger hubs including Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle, helping passengers travel across regional New South Wales and beyond.
Brindabella Airlines also operated mining charter flights and introduced jet aircraft to support busier routes. In 2013, it entered a codeshare agreement with Qantas, marking a period of expansion.
Later that year, the airline faced operational challenges after several aircraft were grounded due to overdue maintenance. This led to widespread cancellations and a temporary suspension of all flights in December 2013. The airline was placed into receivership shortly after and ceased operations.
Although no longer in service, Brindabella Airlines played a key role in connecting regional Australian communities for nearly two decades.
