About Bek Air
Bek Air was an airline based in Kazakhstan that was founded in 1999. Bek Air flew to the following destinations: Aktau, Almaty, Aktobe, Astana, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzloyrda, Oral, Oskemen, Pavlodar, Shymkent, and Zhezkazgan.
The airline initially operated as a business jet service, and its hub was Orak Ak Zhol Airport in West Kazakhstan.
Bek Air's fleet included 8 Fokker 100 and 3 Airbus A340-300 aircraft. In February 2017, Bek Air announced an additional frequent flight to Aktau and Shymkent, flying every Tuesday.
Bek Air ceased operations in 2020 after it failed to correct safety violations.

Passengers flying in Business Class had a higher allowance, usually 1 piece of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight limit of 10 kg (22 lbs) and dimensions within 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm.

Economy Class passengers had a checked baggage allowance of up to 20 kg (44 lbs) but this could vary depending on the specific fare class and destination.
Business Class passengers enjoyed a higher checked baggage allowance of up to 30 kg (66 lbs) or more, depending on the fare class and destination.
Check-in Information
Online Check-in
Bek Air offered online check-in allowing passengers to check in for their flights without having to deal with long airport queues. Online check-in opened 24 hours before the scheduled departure time and closed a few hours before the flight. Passengers could access online check-in through the Bek Air website or mobile app.
Airport Check-in
For passengers who preferred to check in at the airport, Bek Air provided check-in counters at the departure terminal. Passengers needed to present their valid travel documents, such as passports or identification cards, along with their flight reservation details.
In-flight Entertainment
Bek Air offered in-flight entertainment options such as seatback screens in both Economy and Business Class, providing passengers with a selection of movies, TV shows, documentaries and more. In aircraft without seatback screens, overhead screens were available throughout the cabin, displaying various entertainment content.
Passengers could also enjoy audio channels with a range of music genres and access reading materials like magazines and newspapers on board.
Food & Drink
Bek Air provided snacks and drinks on its flights, however, hot meals were not served due to the short duration of the flights. Passengers could purchase the available snack options and beverages from the in-flight menu during their journey.

Oral Ak Zhol Airport
Oral Ak Zhol Airport is based in Kazakhstan and located 12km of Oral and south of the Oral River.
The airport is small with parking for 4 jets and two terminals (Domestic and international). The airport serves the nearby town of Aksai, serving the majority of Ak Zhol passengers. There is a frequent bus and taxi service at the airport.
