Air Bucharest is a Romanian charter airline that was founded in 2010. As well as charter services, the airline also offers wet-lease, AD-HOC, ACMI and Damp Lease services to other travel companies and airlines. The airline was established to be the primary airline operator for the Romanian Kusadasi tour operator, offering flights to other European summer destinations as well as tourist hot spots in North Africa and the middle east. The airline uses a fleet of Boeing 737-300 aircraft with a capacity of up to 148 passengers. Although the airline operates out of numerous Romanian cities, often seasonally, Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport is the airlines primary operating base.
Baggage Policy
Air Bucharest has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage.
Carry-on Baggage
Air Bucharest states that all passengers are allowed to bring 2 items of baggage on board the aircraft with them. This includes 1 cabin case which should not exceed 7kg in weight and fit within the 56 x 45 x 25 cm limitations. You are also allowed to bring 1 personal item which can include a ladies handbag, small backpack, briefcase or camera bag.
Checked Baggage
The airline also allows you to bring 1 checked suitcase with you. The case should not weigh more than 20kg in weight. However, if this is exceeded then the airline charges 10 EUR per 1 kilogram.
Cabin Classes
Air Bucharest only offers Economy Class on their flights.
Economy Class
Air Bucharest only offers an economy class product on their aircraft. The airline have installed plush leather seats helping you to get comfortable during the flight. Complimentary drinks and snacks aren't provided neither is inflight entertainment. However, all passengers are entitled to 2 pieces of cabin baggage and 1 checked case.
Business Class
As the airline primarily operates on behalf of leisure and tour operators, there is no business class cabin installed on their aircraft.
Check-In
Air Bucharest passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check in.
Online Check-in
Online check-in is not currently offered by the airline or by Kusadasi tours meaning that you will need to do so at the airport.
Airport Check-in
The airline offers check-in facilities at the airport as they currently don't support online check-in. Once you arrive at the airport make your way to one of the Air Bucharest check-in counters. The airline states that you should arrive at the airport 120 minutes (2hr) before the scheduled time of departure.
In-Flight Entertainment
Air Bucharest does not offer any inflight entertainment or wifi onboard their aircraft. However, an inflight magazine may be offered for you to read. However, it is advised that you bring your own entertainment to keep you occupied throughout the flight.
Food and Drink
Air Bucharest doesn't provide complimentary drinks and snacks and an inflight bar may be available for purchases. However, depending on the tour operator the airline is providing services for and the level of service agreed between the two, snacks and drinks may be offered, please check with the inflight experience with your tour operator.

As Air Bucharest operates as a charter airline they don't offer a frequent flyer program.
