Aerosul Táxi Aéro, also known as Aerosul Air Taxi or just Aerosul is a Brazillian regional airline. The airline is based at Arapongas Airport (APX) and also flies regularly from Londrina Airport (LDB). The majority of Aerosul's flights are domestic but it flies to some international destinations too.
The carrier launched flights in mid-2021, with its first flight departing from Londrina to Foz do Iguaçu and then onto Asunción, Paraguay. It launched with a focus on offering flights in the southern region of Brazil, with a few international connections to Asunción. At the moment, the airline has more than 5 destinations within its route network but plans to expand as it grows, most likely moving into the southeastern region of the country.
Aerosul is the only scheduled airline currently flying out of Arapongas Airport and one of the only airlines flying within the southern region of the country, making it a great choice for travellers looking to travel between destinations within the area.
Baggage Allowance
Carry-on Baggage
There is no free carry-on baggage allowance.
Instead, passengers are allowed to bring with them 1 personal item, such as a laptop and bag, purse, small backpack, or something of a similar size. This personal item cannot weigh more than 5kg.
Checked Baggage
Passengers are given a free checked baggage allowance of 20kg per passenger. Checked baggage must fit within the dimensions of 19.6" (50 cm) x 31.4" (80 cm) x 10.2" (26 cm).
It's important to ensure that the baggage allowances are followed strictly. If a passenger's baggage exceeds any of the above allowances, they'll be charged an excess baggage fee at the airport.
Cabin Class
Economy Class
The airline flies with an Economy Class cabin and no other cabins. Due to the small size of its planes, there are no flight attendants onboard. In-flight refreshments and any requests will be sorted before boarding and take-off.
Seats
Seats are set out in either a 1 x 1 or 1 x 2 formation. Each seat is comfy and gives plenty of room — more than would be expected from a mainline carrier.

Online Check-In
Passengers can check-in for their flight on the Aerosul online check-in page. To check-in passengers will need their booking details, travel documents and the name of the passengers on the flight.
Airport Check-In
Passengers can also check-in at the airport for their flight. To check-in at the airport, passengers must visit one of the airline check-in agents. If checking in at the airport, passengers must make sure that they arrive at the airport check-in desk no later than 1 hour before the scheduled flight departure time. Any passenger who arrives later than 1 hour before the scheduled flight departure time may be denied boarding and will miss their flight altogether.
In-Flight Entertainment & Wi-Fi
Due to the small planes and limited amenities, the airline doesn't have any in-flight entertainment or WIFI onboard its flights.
Food & Drink
With no flight attendants on board, there's no in-flight food and drink service.
However, passengers are still given food and drink to enjoy during the flight, all included within the price of the ticket. Passengers are each offered water, soft drinks and snacks. These refreshments will either be waiting for them at their seat when they board or given to them pre-boarding, to enjoy on the flight.
Frequent Flyer Program
There's no frequent flyer program for Aerosul at the moment. But, the airline may introduce one once it has taken on more routes, with more passengers flying regularly.

Aerosul Táxi Aêro flies to many destinations in southern Brazil, including its hub in Arapongas, Londrina, Foz do Iguaçu, Lajes, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Porto Alegre and Asunción in Paraguay.
The airline is looking to fly to more destinations within the southeast of Brazil in the near future.

Azul and Gol both fly similar routes to Aerosul. In particular, Azul offers a very similar service on its Cessna Caravans.

Arapongas Airport (APX), also called Alberto Bertelli Airport, is the main airport serving Arapongas, Brazil and the hub airport for Aerosul Táxi Aéro. The airline has been using the airport as its hub since it launched flights in 2021. The airline is the first carrier to fly scheduled flights out of the airport for several years and remains the only scheduled airline to fly from the airport today. Arapongas Airport only has 1 runway and a small terminal building
