Liberty Air (Pakistan), is a Pakistani airline that offers charter services from its base at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. The airline has a focus on providing a service to executive and exclusive travellers in Pakistan Liberty Air was originally supposed to launch and offer scheduled passenger services, however, due to the high taxation charges for airlines in Pakistan, Liberty Air decided it would not be financially viable.
Liberty Air was founded in 2017 and gained its RPTL in 2018. The airline expects to launch services in 2019 after it gains its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC). The destinations that Liberty Air (Pakistan) are targetting have not yet been announced, however, their RPTL only cover domestic routes within Pakistan.

It's not yet known where Liberty Air plans to fly as the airline is still in its start-up phase. However, we can assume the airline will operate domestic flights in Pakistan.

Allama Iqbal International Airport
Allama Iqbal International Airport, previously known as Lahore International Airport, is an international airport in Pakistan and the hub airport for Liberty Air (Pakistan). The airport is the third busiest in the country and is located just outside the city centre of Lahore. The airport is split into three separate terminals — the Allama Iqbal terminal, which handles scheduled passenger services, the Hajj terminal, which exclusively handles services during Hajj and a cargo terminal.
In 2017, plans for a massive expansion of the airport were made. The expansion will see Allama Iqbal International's yearly passenger capacity rise from 6 million to 20 million. Construction was originally meant to be started in 2017, however, plans have been delayed several times and work has still not started on the airport.

Liberty Air (Pakistan) cancel plans to enter the scheduled market
Liberty Air (Pakistan) has decided to cancel plans to fly scheduled passenger services and will only operate charter services when it launches later this year. The decision came after the airline decided that it would not be financially viable to operate scheduled passenger services due to the tax charges it would receive for operating from Pakistan.
According to Ifran Elahi, one of the owners of Liberty Air, the airline doesn't intend to enter the scheduled passenger market anytime soon. Instead, the airline will focus on providing "services to the much-needed executive and exclusive travellers in the country".
