Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG) is the main airport service in Kunming, China, and is the hub airport for Kunming Airlines. The airport was opened in 2012 and was built to replace Kunming Wuijiaba International Airport, which is soon to be demolished.
Kunming Changshui International Airport has one main terminal and is one of the biggest terminal buildings in China. This terminal has over 60 gates and jet bridges.
Kunming Changshui has two separate runways and the capacity to hold 43 million passengers per year. In addition to Kunming Airlines, the airport is also the hub airport for China Eastern Airlines, Hebei Airlines, Hongtu Airlines, Lucky Air, Loong Air, Sichuan Airlines and Ruili Airlines.
