If you are a history buff, you will enjoy discovering Manly's historic military site at North Head Sanctuary. Featuring walking trails, WWII tunnels and Fairfax lookout. Between 1881 and 1925, this area was used to quarantine people who were suffering with deadly illnesses which later became their resting place. As well as being apart of the military defence system that spanned 300km of the coastline.
Any animals lovers out there? Well you will enjoy your afternoon activity by visiting Toronga Zoo, considered to be the best zoo in Sydney! Only a short ferry ride from Circular Quay, featuring 4000 animals, popular for its seal and bird show.
