AJet, formerly known as AnadoluJet until March 2024, is a low-cost regional airline operating as a subsidiary airline of Turkish Airlines. Established in 2008 by Turkish Airlines, AnadoluJet initially focused on operating domestic flights and eventually expanded its services to include destinations in Northern Cyprus, Western Europe and Western Asia for its parent company.
In March 2020, the AnadoluJet brand was revamped to cover the entire Turkish Airlines international route network departing from Istanbul, ultimately offering over 20 routes from the capital.
In February 2023, Turkish Airlines announced plans to transform AnadoluJet into an independent airline entity, officially naming it AJet. AJet remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of Turkish Airlines.
Fast-forward to the present, November 2023 marked a significant milestone for AJet as Turkish Airlines unveiled the airline's fresh branding and livery. AJet is set to acquire a separate Air Operator Certificate (AOC), further solidifying its position in the competitive airline industry.
AJet operates flights to domestic and international destinations across Europe and Asia.
Baggage Allowance
AJet has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage. Your baggage allowance will also depend on whether you're flying domestically or internationally.
Carry-on Baggage
Carry-on baggage is included in the fare of all AJet flights.
Your carry-on baggage mustn't weigh more than 8kg and needs to fit within the maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 23cm. In addition to this, AJet passengers can bring 1 personal item such as a laptop bag or a purse.
Checked Baggage
Checked baggage is included in the fare of the airline ticket on all AJet flights.
Adults and children's checked baggage must not weigh more than 15kg on domestic flights and 20kg on flights to Cyprus. Infant passengers checked baggage must not weigh more than 10kg on all flights.
Cabin Classes
Economy Class is AJet's only cabin class. The cabin is simple but pleasant, designed to give passengers a comfortable and relaxed flight.
Economy Class
The airline serves passengers complimentary food and drinks on the flight. Passengers can choose between water, tea and coffee, accompanied by a sandwich or cake.
In addition to this, for a small fee, passengers can pre-select their seats prior to the flight.
There's no in-flight entertainment on AJet flights.
Economy Class Seats
Seats are in a 3 x 3 or 2 x 2 formation, depending on the route and the aircraft flown on. Seats give passengers sufficient space and room.
Check-In Information
AJet passengers can check in online for a quick and easy airport journey. However, if you're unable to check in online you can check in at the airport.
Online Check-In
Online check-in is available on AJet flights. Passengers can check in online by entering their flight details under the 'online check-in' tab on the AnadoluJet page. Online check-in opens 24 hours before your AJet flight departure time and closes one hour before.
Airport Check-In
Passengers can check-in at the airport by using the self-service check-in kiosks or by visiting an AJet team member at the AJet check-in desks. Check-in must be completed at least 45 minutes before your AJet flight departure time, including baggage drop.
Food and Drink
Complimentary refreshments, including sandwiches, fruit juice, tea, coffee, and water, are provided on all of AJet's international flights, including services to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. For domestic flights and those connecting Adana to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, packaged water is offered free of charge.
Frequent Flyer Program
AJet offers Miles&Smiles. This is also applied on Turkish Airlines flights.
The program involves providing miles which can be exchanged for airline tickets, seat upgrades and more.
