Alternative Airlines partners with Paysafe
Rolls out Skrill, NETELLER and Rapid Transfer payment solutions, planning to offer paysafecard and Paysafecash.
Alternative Airlines, a Gatwick-based flight-search website that offers a fast, easy and convenient way to book flights, has announced a new partnership with Paysafe, a global payment services provider.
The partnership will enable Alternative Airlines to provide a range of payment methods for its customers, using Paysafe’s expertise to offer industry-leading digital payment solutions. This includes Paysafe’s popular digital wallets, Skrill and NETELLER, and Rapid Transfer – Paysafe’s instant bank transfer payment method, available in 18 European countries. There are plans in place to roll out the company’s innovative eCash solutions, Paysafecash and paysafecard, on Alternative Airlines’ website.
Paysafe offers Alternative Airlines a unique set of global payment capabilities. Customers booking flights through Alternative Airlines will benefit from greater choice at the checkout, as well as a streamlined payment experience.
Sam Argyle, Managing Director of Alternative Airlines, commented, “We’re incredibly excited. Alternative Airlines takes an innovative approach to booking flights—our aim is to be able to support all transactions, no matter how our customers want to pay. Partnering with Paysafe is another example of Alternative Airlines continuing to expand on its range of available payment options—which also currently includes credit and debit card payments and other digital payment methods—with the aim of driving both conversion and retention, to bring customers back time-and-time again.”
Alternative Airlines’ portfolio of payment and finance options is a key driver behind the flight-search website’s continued success: 92% of customers who mentioned the payment options when sharing their thoughts on independent review site Feefo rated Alternative Airlines 4 or 5 stars.
Speaking of the new partnership, Lorenzo Pellegrino, CEO of Skrill, NETELLER and Income Access at Paysafe, said: “Customers increasingly expect to have access to different ways to pay and the ability to use their chosen payment method can easily be the determining factor in choosing where to shop online. Alternative Airlines is taking a future-proofed approach to the payment process by providing choice at the checkout.”
Importantly, as Alternative Airlines continues to grow, Paysafe provides a robust and scalable payment solution which helps to minimise fraud risk. Alternative Airlines currently tickets over 650 airlines and offers over 25 ways to pay, including international and region-specific methods—such as M-Pesa, Airtel, Sofort, Tigo Pesa—with bookings made from around the world.
