All Thai AirAsia passengers (except for infants) are permitted to carry on board two pieces of baggage, comprising of:
One cabin bag with a maximum size of 56cm x 36cm x 23cm and that must fit in the overhead storage compartment of the aircraft.
Either a handbag (purse), laptop bag, or a small bag with a maximum size of 40cm x 30cm x 10cm that must fit under the seat in front of the passenger.
The total weight of both items must be a maximum of 7kg (15.4lb)
For Value Pack, Premium Flex, and Premium Flatbed fares and packages, checked baggage allowance will be included on your fare.
There is a range of checked baggage allowances for passengers to book if they need to take more luggage. They are available in the following sizes:
It is recommended that passengers ensure that they pre-book their checked baggage allowance before travelling since checked baggage fees at the airport are the highest.
Baggage that exceeds the booked amount will be charged at the most relevant weight bracket.
Sports equipment, such as golf equipment, bicycles, surfboards, diving gear, and skis/snowboards have specific packing instructions. Passengers are able to pre-book sports equipment online and a special sports equipment fee applies.
Thai Airasia has 2 different cabin classes - Economy and Business class.
Economy Class is the low-fare option.
For a fee, in-flight meals, entertainment and lounge access is available.
Enjoy comfortable seating in the Economy cabin, with overhead storage, ample legroom, personal lighting and air-con. Choose the 'Pick a Seat' option when flying with AirAsia to choose your seat for a small fee, otherwise, you will be automatically allocated a seat.
AirAsia’s ‘Premium’ class is more than what you would expect from a premium economy ticket and much closer to what might be expected from a business class seat
Priority check-in and boarding are available as well as lounge Access. A drink and hot towel will be provided when you take your seat on board the plane. A complimentary meal is served during your flight.
Business Class offers fully reclining seats that can be converted into flat beds. Pillows and blankets are provided.
Thai Airasia lets you check in online prior to your flight departure time but you can also check in at the airport.
Online check-in is available for Thai AirAsia flights on the official AirAsia website. You can check in from 14 days up until 1 hour before your scheduled flight departure.
If you need to check in at the airport for your Thai AirAsia flight, you can do so by going to the AirAsia check-in counters inside the airport. If you need assistance, an AirAsia check-in agent will help you.
