Economy Class seats are designed to give you more personal space. There are two classes of Economy: Standard, and Premium, with Premium in a separate cabin.

Economy Class Facilities

On all aircraft, Standard Economy Class passengers can enjoy a special meal, personal touch-screen TV, and, on most flights, stay in touch with Internet Connectivity. Premium Economy passengers can also make the most of extra storage space, a larger touchscreen, and an exclusive menu.

Economy Class Seating

On the A350-900 and 777-300, seats are designed with backrest cushions and bolstered sides, to provide additional comfort. Additionally, the 4-way adjustable sculpted headrest, with comfortable neck support, holds your head snugly and lets you sleep.

On the A380, A330 and 777-300ER, Economy passengers can choose Extra Legroom Seats, and Forward Zone Seats, located closer to the doors.

On all aircraft, Premium Economy Class seats are also reclining, and designed with greater width of up to 19.5 inches, calf-rest and foot-rest built right into your seat. Built within the seats are two USB ports and an adjustable reading lamp.

Singapore Airlines Business Class tickets are flights that are operated by Singapore Airlines offering access to a variety of high-level services at the airport and onboard your flight. These services usually aren't available in cabin classes below Business (e.g., Premium Economy and Economy). When flying in Business Class with Singapore Airlines, you can enjoy exclusivity and premium benefits from you moment you get to the airport all the way to the moment you land at your destination.

Singapore Airlines has many different Business Class cabins depending on your destination. Business Class is available in Singapore Airlines' A380, A350, B777, B787, B737-8 and B737-800 NG. Different services may be available depending on the aircraft you're flying in with Singapore Airlines.

Business Class - A380

If you're flying Business Class in Singapore Airlines' Airbus A380, you can expect a seamless service from luxuriously comfortable seating to endless entertainment options.

Seats are fully reclinable and can be converted to flatbeds - ideal for night flights. If you're travelling with your significant other, you can book centre seats that convert into full flat double beds. Slippers and eyeshades are provided on longer flights alongside complimentary toiletries to help you feel rejuvenated mid-flight.

For business travellers, there are multiple storage compartments so you can easily tuck away your cabin bag, laptop and handbag. Reading lights are available if you need to catch up on some work or want to tuck into a good book.

To keep entertained throughout your flight, you'll have access to an 18-inch touchscreen monitor, noise-cancelling headphones and 1000+ movies, TV shows and playlists to choose from.

Meal options are available - you can purchase your meals before the flight through the 'Book the Cook' system. Your meals will be accompanied by a selection of champagne and wines too.

Business Class - A350 & B777

Business Class in Singapore Airlines' A350 and B777 is something to look forward to! The seats in the A350 and B777 allow you to enter the cradling position or the lounging position, helping you settle into your flight with ease. Seats are fully reclinable and can convert into fully-flat beds with crushing headboards, linen, duvets and pillows.

It's important to have somewhere to store your laptop on your journey - side consoles are available in the seats as well as eXport, HDMI and USB ports. You can reserve your main course before you fly through Singapore Airlines' Book the Cook system. Onboard, you can dine in a restaurant setting and experience full table service with a selection of wines to choose from!

In-flight entertainment is available - you get access to a database of over 1,800 TV, movie and music options. Games and apps are available too to keep you entertained.

Regional Business Class - A350 and B787

For regional Singapore Airlines flights, seats can recline into full-flat beds with adjustable armrests in the Business Class cabin. This means that even if your flight is short, you can still catch up on some much-needed rest.

Business travellers can enjoy having their very own workspace with a place to stow a laptop. Reading lights are available as well as multiple power supplies and charging ports. In-flight entertainment is also available - if you're a KrisFlyer member, you can sign in to your account and pick up where you left off with your favourite TV show or movie!

Meals can be pre-booked via Singapore Airlines' Book Your Cook system so you can thoroughly enjoy a fine-dining experience onboard your flight.

Regional Business Class - B737-8

In Singapore Airlines' Business Class cabin on the Boeing 737-8, you can sit back and relax in reclinable seats that also convert to fully-flat beds over 6ft long. Storage spaces are available around your seats allowing for easy access to your laptop, headphones and other devices.

Indulge in authentic Asian dishes through Singapore Airlines' Book your Cook system. You can make meal reservations from 1 week up until 24 hours before your flight!

Regional Business Class - B737-800 NG

For flights serviced by Singapore Airlines' Boeing 737-800, you can thoroughly enjoy Business Class with spacious seating, delicious cuisine and an abundance of options for in-flight entertainment.

The B737-800, unfortunately, doesn't have internet access but you can still relax and read on your flight via the Singapore Airlines e-library on the SingaporeAir mobile app. 

Singapore Airlines First Class tickets provide travellers with a luxurious travel experience from start to finish. It begins right from the check-in process where you can eliminate any check-in queues with their exclusive first-class check-in. If flying from Singapore Changi airport, you'll even be greeted with a Passenger Relations Officer and Porter, who will assist you through their unique First-Class check-in reception. Once through check-in you can enjoy a private lounge, which includes facilities such as warm food and showers, that can be accessed at many of the airports that Singapore Airlines departs from. Onboard the aircraft you can relax in your own private space, that has been designed for ultimate comfort, fitted with an extra wide seat and mood lighting.

You'll be fine dining in the sky with Singapore Airlines First Class. Book your desired main course up to 24 hours before departure, which will be created by the airlines' renowned chefs on an international culinary panel, which you can enjoy in a dine-in restaurant onboard the aircraft. Here you'll receive full table service and wines to help compliment the food. There's plenty of entertainment to keep you occupied throughout your journey, with WiFi onboard, a HD-enabled personal Monitor and 1,800 entertainment options available.

What's included in an Singapore Airlines First Class Ticket?

Priority Check-In & Boarding

If you're flying First Class with Singapore Airlines, you don't need to worry about long check-in queues, as there'll be a dedicated check-in queue. If you're departing from Singapore Changi Airport, you'll have access to the exclusive Singapore Airlines First-Class check-in reception. Here you'll be greeted by a Passenger Relation Officer and a porter that'll unload your baggage and guide you to the First-Class Check-in facility. Check-in will be dealt with by your Passenger Relation Officer, giving you time to sit back and relax. From here, through a private entrance, you'll arrive at immigration, where after you can enjoy the facilities of the SilverKris Lounge.

Airport Lounge Access

Having a Singapore Airlines First Class ticket means that you have complete access to the SilverKris airport lounges, which can be found at many airports worldwide. Take away the stress of travelling in the lounge, by feasting on their warm food and light snacks, freshening up in the showers, winding down with a beverage from their barista or bar as well as catching up on some of your favourite TV.

Seats & Flatbed / In-flight Entertainment

The First Class seats vary slightly depending on which aircraft you're flying on:

• Boeing 777-300ER - This is the only aircraft in the Singapore Airlines' fleet that offers a First Class Seat, instead of a First Class Suite. These private seats are extremely comfortable, being 35inches wide and decorated with high quality leather, they're sure to provide a comfortable journey. The seats have a lie-flat option, with mood lighting and individual controls, which are perfect if you're hoping to catch some sleep and recharge on your flight. The fitted entertainment screen is 24inches and has HD resolution; this can be paired with noise-cancelling headphones. On selected flights it's possible to stay in contact with friends and family on the ground through the provided internet connectivity.
• Airbus A380 - Aboard here you can find the renowned Singapore Airlines' First Class Suites, which can be completely closed off from the aircraft cabin. Take a seat in a full-grain leather, reclining swivel chair or rejuvenate in your freshly made up bed. The suite is fitted with a 32" HD Touchscreen monitor and noise-cancelling headphones, as well as internet connectivity, keeping you amused from take-off to landing. There are spacious wardrobes for you to hang up any cabin luggage. Freshen up without even having to leave your suite, with a personal spacious lavatories, containing a vanity counter and a variety of complimentary range of toiletries.

Food and Beverages

Indulge in a mouthwatering meal from the onboard menu or take advantage of Singapore Airlines' pre-order service, where you can order from a range of dishes up to 24 hours before your flight to be specially made and then served onboard. Please be aware that available entrees depend on departure city. All food will be bought to you upon request. Top shelf and premium liquors are served in First Class, as well as a variety of wines, beers and soft drinks.

Baggage Allowance

Singapore Airlines' exclusive First Class passengers on flights to/from US and Canada are allowed 2 checked bags, with a generous allowance of up to 32kg / 70 pounds. All other routes have a checked baggage allowance of 50kg / 110 pounds, allowing you to travel with many of your treasured belongings. Every route has a perfectly manageable carry-on baggage allowance of 7kg / 15 pounds, meaning you can have all your comforts and necessities nearby.

Singapore Airlines passengers can check-in online from 48 hours before, and up to 1.5 hours before scheduled departure time.

Alternatively, passengers can check-in at the airport by visiting the Singapore Airlines counter.

Singapore Airlines offers a frequent flyer program called KrisFlyer to reward regular passengers.

The Silver Kris Lounge is Singapore Airlines premium lounge, available to departing Singapore Airlines Suites, First Class and Business Class passengers in addition to Solitaire PPS Club, PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold members travelling on Singapore Airlines.

Miles are earned and redeemed on Singapore Airlines own services as well as with Krisflyer partners. Partners include all Star Alliance members, SilkAir, Virgin Atlantic Virgin Australia, Air India, and numerous hotel chains and car-hire companies.

KrisFlyer is divided into KrisFlyer, KrisFlyer Elite Silver and KrisFlyer Elite Gold, which correspond to Star Alliance Silver and Gold, respectively.

Priority Passenger Service (PPS) is for passengers who have accumulated S$25,000 worth of PPS Value within a year. PPS Value is acquired while flying Singapore Airlines Suites, First Class or Business Class on Singapore Airlines, or Business Class on SilkAir. The PPS is divided into the PPS Club, Solitaire PPS Club and the Solitaire PPS Club Life.
