Carry-on Baggage
Carry-on baggage on Malaysia Airlines flights must not exceed 7kg / 15lbs in weight and 115cm / 45 ins in dimensions (length + height + width). Please don't pack any prohibited items in you carry-on as this will be removed and disposed at airport security. Prohibited items include illegal substances, sharp objects, and any liquids over 100ml.

Passengers flying in First Class on Malaysia Airlines flights are allowed two pieces of baggage with a maximum weight of 50kg / 110lbs. Passengers flying in Business Class on Malaysia Airlines flights are allowed two pieces of baggage with a maximum weight of 40kg / 88lbs. Passengers flying in Economy Class on Malaysia Airlines are allowed two pieces of baggage with a maximum weight of 30kg / 66lbs. First and Business Class passengers are entitled to two pieces of baggage each included in their airfare and Economy Class passengers are allowed one piece of baggage.

What does Malaysia Airlines First Class include?
Malaysia Airlines has rebranded its first-class cabins as a premium business class service and would be sold “at an attractive price point for passengers” in response to high business traveller demand, with corporate policy often restricting the use of the first class. The suites are in a 1-2-1 formation. The A350 has four seats with a retractable privacy door while the A380 has eight open suites. Passengers will get a dedicated check-in counter, access to the airline’s premium First Class Lounge and a 50KG baggage allowance. There will also be a delicious range of regional dishes and a large amenity kit which includes cologne, cosmetics, a Malaysia Airlines key ring and a comfortable pair of pyjamas slippers and socks.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport has 2 passenger terminals, the original terminal, KLIA Main and the new terminal 2 also known as KLIA2. The KLIA Main is located between the 2 runways.
