AirAsia India has rebranded to AIXConnect
AIXConnect is an Indian low-cost airline headquartered in Chennai, India which began operating in June 2014 using Bangalore as its primary hub. The airline is in a joint venture with AirAsia Berhad, Tata Sons and Arun Bhatia. Similar airlines include Air Deccan and GoAir.

AirAsia India has rebranded to AIXConnect. Please find below AIXConnect's baggage allowance.
Passengers flying on AIXConnect are allowed to bring 1 piece of carry-on baggage as well as a personal item such as a laptop or handbag. The total weight of your carry-on baggage and personal item can't exceed 7kg.
The carry-on baggage must not exceed the dimensions of 56cm (H) X 36cm (W) X 23cm (D). Please ensure that your carry-on baggage fits in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front of you.
You're personal item shouldn't exceed the dimensions of 40cm (H) X 30cm (W) X 10cm (L).
Checked baggage can be pre-booked online and must not exceed 81 cm x 119 cm x 119cm and 32 kg in weight. If you're flying to/from the United States, you can purchase checked baggage. Each piece of checked baggage can't exceed 20kg.
On domestic flights, you'll be allowed to bring one checked baggage no more than 15kg.

Economy Class is the same as choosing the Low Fare option. You can still enjoy the comfort and benefits included onboard.
Facilities include 1 cabin baggage to be taken on board. In-flight meals, entertainment and lounge access is available at a charge.
You have the choice to 'Pick a Seat' when flying with AIXConnect. This allows you to choose the seat on the aircraft at a small fee. You will be automatically allocated a seat when you check-in if you do not choose the 'Pick a Seat' option.
'Premium Class', is more than just a Premium Economy Class, an actually what you get to experience if you book a Business Class flight on an average airline.
AIXConnect operates an Airbus 330-300 on 95% of its flights, and only offers twelve Premium Class seats with a dedicated check-in counter that's basically just for those twelve passengers.One of the privileges is that you get to board the airplane before everyone else does. Once you embark on the aircraft and are shown to your assigned seat, you are welcomed with a complimentary bottle of water and hot towels. Shortly after take-off, you receive your free pre-booked meal with another bottle of water, orange juice, a salad and dessert.

AIXConnect offers a number of delicious meals on board. AIXConnect ensures that its food is served with high quality and that they meet the standards of hygiene. On your AIXConnect flight you'll be offered a range of desserts, snacks and drinks. AIXConnect will cater to anyones special diets including vegetarian, pescatarian, healthy, diabetic and more.
AIXConnect offers AirAsia Asean Pass, a travel pass that allows passengers to book base fares at least 14 days or more before the departure date.
AIXConnect offers AirAsia BIG SHOT, a frequent flyer program to reward regular travellers with the airline. As a BIG SHOT, you get to earn BIG Points with every flight booking and in return, redeem more flights with those points.
In September 2017, AIXConnect renovated to BIG points which determine points by how often passengers fly: the more they fly with AIXConnect, the faster they will earn points, regardless of how much they spend on fares.
The four-status system moves from Red status - for passengers who fly up to 13 AirAsia flights a year - to Gold and Platinum and Black, for those who fly over 50 times a year. Long-haul and Fly-Thru flights count as two short-haul flights, under the new calculation.
