

Zambian Airways ceased flying 12th January 2009
Zambian Airways was a scheduled airline based in Lusaka operating an extensive domestic route network within Zambia as well as international flights to South Africa, Tanzania and DR Congo Zambian Airways flights
Zambian Airways flights connected all major centres within Zambia, as well as to Johannesburg, Lubumbasi and Dar es Salaam.
Zambian Airways aimed to be the first choice for business travellers with interests in the region and offered an excellent schedule of flights with selected routes offering both economy and business class. The route network was also ideal for the leisure traveller wishing to explore this exciting and diverse part of Africa :
Zambian Airways flew from Victoria Falls via South Luangwa game park, to the exotic Spice Islands near Dar es Salaam and beyond. Due to the diversity of their route network Zambian Airways operated a varied fleet of aircraft ranging from the smaller Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft to Boeing 737-200 and McDonnel Douglas MD82’s.
