Young people hoping to enter the job market soon may benefit from spending some time volunteering, it has been claimed.
Flights to Delhi might be in demand among charitable travellers hoping to explore a foreign country while working at the same time in light of the comments by senior researcher at the Institute for Employment Studies Becci Newton.
She observed that working for free in this way can "boost" a CV and make an applicant more attractive to a potential employer.
"Volunteering is quite different in that young people have a greater opportunity to perhaps develop leadership skills than they might in work," Ms Newton stated.
The expert explained that youngsters may be able to suggest their own projects and could even have the opportunity to develop these.
Individuals travelling to India on Spice Jet flights may be able to find volunteering opportunities while on their travels.
Earlier this month, Ms Newton asserted that a gap year can help young people to establish what career they want to pursue.
