

Vladivostok Air, the growing Russian carrier based on the country's Pacific Coast, has launched twice weekly flights from its home base in Vladivostok to Singapore with a refuelling stop in Hong Kong. The new service will be flown on an Airbus A320 aircraft and the first flight will operate on 23 September 2011.
Vladivostok Air is using flight number XF763 for the flights from Vladivostok which leaves at 10.45 am on Tuesday and Thursday. The return service to Vladivostok is the XF764 and departs Singapore at 8.10 pm, also on Tuesdays and Fridays, both times are local times.
Vladivostok is best known as the Eastern terminus of the world renowned, Trans-Siberain Railway and the rail journey from Moscow still takes between 6 and 7 days to complete.
